  You can get the half-price rail ticket on the train if you show them
  your flight confirmation when you buy the ticket.

  Dr Murray Leith will be hosting the whiksy tasting, and the theme will
  be 'A tour of the Islands' (starts 6:30pm)
  There will also be some food.
  We'll leave Cairncross House at 5:40 to walk to the Research Club
  together. Of course, you can go there directly.

  I couldn't tell you for sure. If you do have a chip, you can only pay
  when you know your pin. But I think they still accept cards without
  chip. Just last week, I have paid with a credit card that doesn't have
  a chip.

  what about Credit Card / Debit Card usage? I've seen that in London
  from Feb 2006 will be accepted only credit card with Chip.... Is the
  same in Glasgow?
  I've a Visa Credit Card and a Maestro circuit Debit card...

  There is a rail link from Prestwick airport. Check the timetable at
  [link]
  (from page 17 for times on Sunday). A single ticket costs around £5.20
  (maybe a bit more now) and if you came with RyanAir you'll get it half-
  price. You can buy the ticket on the train.

  The banquet will be held on Tuesday in the House for an Art Lover in
  Bellahouston Park ([link]). Extra
  tickets for partners etc. can be purchased from us for £50.
  On Wednesday afternoon we will head to Loch Lomond for a boat cruise.

  student residences. It is ideally situated for Glasgow city centre and
  the West End (the University and SSMS venue).
