- FICL (forth) to Objective-C bridge
Hi all,
I thought I'd let you know about a FICL (ficl.sourceforge.net) /
Objective-C bridge I worked on a while back. I dubbed it
"OspreyForth" because I wanted it to target OpenStep-compatible
systems such as Mac OS X and GNUstep. Unfortunately, I found out

GNU Forth is what I am currently using. Alas, it is not a compiler,
but a traditional threaded interpreter. It also requires certain
features of gcc which have not been well supported in recent releases
(it is fastest when compiled with the ancient gcc 2.95).
I am looking for something more along the lines of BIGforth, iForth, - Re: Fastest MacIntel Forth?

I'm probably the only person on the planet who uses TextWrangler to
edit Forth code, but in case there are others who are annoyed at
constantly having to turn off Fortran syntax coloring, I've created a
"codeless language module" for the ANS Forth vocabularies:

My code to do this is on the MF board snippets section, I'll send you
the latest version.
Aaaah, yes I see. I have the same, hadn't noticed it before you showed
this. Now I want to have this fixed of course.
