Edelman will be working with Microsoft®’s Entertainment and Devices Division (E&D) across all its local EMEA territories, offering creativity, excellent standards and results, and an integrated communications approach across the whole region.
The work will be led out of London by David Brain (President and CEO Edelman Europe) and Dave Bennett (Microsoft Client Relations Manager). Brain and Bennett will manage PR across the region, ensuring that the transition to local Edelman offices is as smooth as possible for all parties involved. Official start dates are varying by country, with most offices commencing work from early April.
Jackie Cooper PR, Edelman’s UK consumer PR arm, will handle PR duties in the UK, with the account headed by Account Director Matthew Gain. JCPR will report to Nick Grange, Head of PR, Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division UK.
The Microsoft E&D business includes Xbox 360™, the video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Games for Windows®, Microsoft Game Studios and the Consumer Productivity Experience Group (CPXG).
Edelman offices or affiliates will handle E&D work in:
