Security and Risk Analysis Faculty Position Open

The Penn State College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) invites applications for a tenure-track position at all ranks in all areas of Security and Risk Analysis (SRA). Highly qualified candidates at assistant professor rank will be considered for a PNC Career Development Professorship. Candidates are especially encouraged to apply who conduct interdisciplinary research with a broad and integrated view of SRA.

The SRA recruiting emphasis is risk analysis using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, with special emphasis on systems-based approaches. Successful applicants will be expected to establish a quality research program and teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in SRA and IST. Teaching areas include security and risk modeling, analysis, and management; integration of cyber-security and privacy rights; and the SRA aspects of IT auditing and governance.
