  Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines and race on over to the "Life in the Fast Lane" hosted by the San Diego Blood Bank. This NASCAR-themed event promises elegant eats, music, dancing, a silent and live auction, racecar simulation games and lots of high-octane entertainment!
• More Than 2,000 San Diegans Turn Out For 29th Annual Chargers Blood Drive, Presented by San Diego County Credit Union
  More than 2,000 people visited the 29th annual Chargers Blood Drive today helping the San Diego Blood Bank collect 1,944 pints of blood for local hospital patients. This total is in addition to the 3,207 pints of blood given during Chargers Mania, the week preceding the drive. In addition, the blood bankÂ’s Stem Cell Donor Center added some 150 names to the National Marrow Donor Program registry.
• Loyal San Diego Blood Bank Donor Wins 2008 Honda CR-V, Compliments of the Honda Dealers of San Diego County, at Chargers Blood Drive XXIX
  While local hospital patients were the real winners at yesterdayÂ’s Chargers Blood Drive at the Town & Country Convention Center, Theresa Somers of San Diego felt pretty lucky too. Somers, who walked to the event in Mission Valley because her current car is unreliable, drew the winning key that started the 2008 Honda CR-V donated by the Honda Dealers of San Diego County.

The San Diego Blood Bank is gearing up for Chargers Blood Drive XXIX by declaring Chargers Mania from Tuesday, November 13, through Monday, November 19.
• SAN DIEGO BLOOD BANK UNVEILS FIRST EVER "POWDER BLUE" T-SHIRT DESIGN FOR CHARGERS BLOOD DRIVE XXIX, PRESENTED BY SAN DIEGO COUNTY CREDIT UNION
  The San Diego Blood Bank is asking people to make a difference in life at Chargers Blood Drive XXIX presented by the San Diego County Credit Union, on Tuesday, November 20, from 9 am to 7 pm, at the Town & Country Convention Center in Mission Valley. In addition to donating blood, participants will be invited to join the national bone marrow registry free of charge.
