Toronto girl wins Microsoft Canada’s national I CAN Holiday Greeting Card Contest
Lucy Yam, a twelve-year-old girl from Toronto, Ontario and a member of the Eastview (Toronto) Boys and Girls Club in Riverdale, is this year’s winner of Microsoft Canada’s 11th annual I CAN Holiday Greeting Card Contest. To capture the true spirit of giving, children from Boys and Girls Clubs across Canada were invited to design a holiday card based on the theme “What I’d Like to Give the World...” Lucy’s card was chosen from over 500 entries. Her artwork will appear on Microsoft Canada’s corporate holiday greeting cards. -

Microsoft Canada Co., together with the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) and the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, today announced an initiative to establish a Child Life Interactive Computers for Kids (CLICK) program. The CLICK program will provide consoles and games for Xbox® video game system, connectivity, hardware and software to children in the hospital and create an environment that will enable them to connect with school, family, and friends during frequent or lengthy periods of hospitalization. -
