The Galileo Academy Library will become an art gallery for a day.
Noon to 6pm
Wednesday, December 5.
Teachers are invited to bring their classes for a tour.
Some of the art that will be featured:
Moffett's Inferno - a visual reinterpretion of Dante's Inferno in acrylic and mixed media by Ms. Moffett's 2nd Period class
What Are You Afraid Of? - a collaborative installation created by students confronting their fears in the library
Prophe-See TV - the future of our own creation, created collaboratively on a scroll of canvas
Courtney Clicks - photography by Gerry Courtney
G-House Studios Films - Flash and video films created in room 101.

There's a new way for students to share their book recommendations. The Galileo Book Review is notebook, decorated by Teakeysha Britton, where students write about a book they like and say why other people should read it.
To participate students should write the book's title, the date, the author, the call number and a short explanation of why we should read the book.
Reviews can be written directly into the book or on any 8.5" x 5" paper (half of a letter).
Some English teachers may give extra credit for participation.
