We are pleased to announce that we have deployed some enhancements this morning, July 19th 2007. The enhancements include * Improved navigation menu. The left menu now works in a more intuitive way and is to load and transition * Improved market data updates. The market data now updates every five seconds. Note that you can change back to the old update mechanism using the ?HTML Interface? link at the bottom left of the trading screen. Please note that some users may need to click the refresh button while holding down the Ctrl key to see the latest changes as the old pages may be cached in their browsers. - IMPORTANT: Review of Fees on Expired Positions
Members who held positions in a Market when our new fee structure was introduced on July 27th, 2007, will have their expiry fees reviewed once the Market has been fully expired. If the fee due under the new 4% commission fee structure exceeds the fee that would have been charged under the old system of trading and expiry fees then a refund of the difference will be provided. This applies only to positions held at the time the new fee structure was introduced. A refund will be provided only for fees levied on the expiry profit from a position. If you trade in and out of a position for a profit before expiry you will be charged the 4% commission on that profit and will not be eligible for a refund. The fees will be reviewed once all contracts in the Market have been expired. For example, fees charged on positions for the winner of the Super Bowl will be reviewed once the final two contracts in this group have been expired after the Super Bowl has been played. The Exchange is pleased to announce the launch of a new Member-to-Member funds transfer system. This allows you to transfer funds from your account to the account of another member of the Exchange quickly, easily and free of charge. To request a transfer please visit your My Account page and complete the online form found under the Transfers heading. If you have questions please contact us at help@tradesports.com. Member-to-Member Transfer FAQs: How do I complete a Member-to-Member transfer? Just complete the online form. Our Exchange staff will then process the transfer for you. Is the transfer instantaneous? No. Exchange staff will review all transfer requests before they are authorised and processed. A transfer will typically be completed within 30 minutes, but may take up to 24-hours in some cases. How will I know when the transfer has been completed? You will receive an email to confirm the transfer has been completed. You will also receive an email if there are any problems or if the transfer is refused for any reason. What is the maximum amount I can transfer? The maximum transfer amount is $500.00 per transfer. What is the minimum amount I can transfer? The minimum transfer amount is $25.00 per transfer. Is there a limit on the number of transfers I can make? No. You can request as many transfers as you like. Please note however that our Exchange staff carefully review all transfers and a large number of transfers to, or from, the same account will be investigated. Are there any fees for making a transfer? No. It is completely free to make a Member-to-Member transfer. Can I cancel a transfer after it has been processed? No. Once your account has been debited the transfer cannot be cancelled or reversed. The member who received the funds will need to transfer them back by requesting a new Member-to-Member transfer. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. The requested transfer will typically be processed within 30 minutes but can take up to 24 hours 2. You must have sufficient available funds in your trading account to cover the transfer 3. The recipient of the transfer must be a member of the Exchange 4. All transfers are subject to review before processing will be authorised at the sole discretion of the Exchange 5. Any credit card deposits must be verified before a transfer can made from your account 6. Tradesports Hours of Operation and Member Support Hours. From 1st March 2007 the Tradesports Hours of Operation and Member Support Hours are as follows: 1. The Tradesports exchange will be open seven days per week, and shall close daily for normally 1 hour from 2:00am ET (7:00am GMT) to 3:00am (8:00am GMT) 2. e-mail support to help@tradesports.com is provided twenty four hours per day, seven days per week. Our member response target is to reply in the first instance within 60 minutes of receipt. 3. Live Chat support is also normally provided twenty four hours per day, seven days per week but there will be times when Live Chat will not be available.
