  Hello to all. I am an individual doing my own credit repair. I was never notifed about any of the accounts that went to collections until I received a report from the CRA's. I did the whole debt validation thing and 2 companies out of 6 responded. One of these companies deleted the tradeline when I told them that the amount owed was disputed. The other is a law firm who seem sto be dead set on not doing a pay for delete. What should I do?

  I was served today for a medical bill that I should have taken care of. The insurance company would have picked up the bill but I did not turn in the claim. Absolutely my fault!! The amount owed is $3,200 atty fees $800 and I'm sure the filing fee is $200. My main objective is to not get a judgement! So... should I contact the atty's office or file a response to give me more time to come up with the money? Could I during this time contact the insurance company to pay the claim?
