    James Alvin Browning of LaFayette died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at his residence. He was 46.He was employed with Mohawk Industries. He was preceded in death by his father, J.T. Browning; sister, Gale Wheeler; stepfather, Jimmy Suttles.Survivors include his loving wife, Lisa Gamble Browning; mother, Virginia Jo Wheeler of LaFayette; three stepsons, Chris Rutledge of Oklahoma, Randy Rutledge of Chattanooga, Tenn., Ricky Rutledge of Dalton; one brother, Angelo Wheeler; three sisters, Martha Wheeler, Sandra Underwood and Rachel Wheeler, all of LaFayette; a dear nephew, Deiondre Wheeler; a special aunt, Thelma Dallas; six stepgrandchildren; other aunts, uncles, sisters-in- law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.Services: Thursday, Jan. 1, at noon at Prospect Baptist Church with pastor G.L.     Lucy Ellen Gordy James of Rossville died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was 85.A resident of the North Georgia area for most of her life, she was member of Westside Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, George Marvin and Mary Elizabeth Knight Gordy; sister, Marie Gordy; and two brothers, George Marvin Jr. and Tom Gordy. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Harry (Vicki) Fryar Jr. of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Marvin (Sandy) Meroney of Laurel, Md.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jean (Frank) Doyal of Rossville, Lynda (Lonnie) Roberts of Gulf Shores, Ala., Donna (Melvin) Ogle of Rossville; two grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Services: Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev.     Oren Clem, 59, Rossville
    Oren O’Neil “Neil” Clem of Rossville died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008 at his home. He was 59.Neil was born in Danville, Ky., where he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was previously owner/operator of Hawg Wild Cycle Supply in Fort Oglethorpe.He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Clem.Survivors include his wife, Camilla Miller Clem of Rossville; parents, Oren and Bette Clem of Danville; daughter, Lea Ann Metcalfe of LaGrange, Ky.; stepson, Gary Miller of Rossville; brother, Arthur “Art” Clem of Cleveland, Tenn.; sister, Laura Roller of Danville; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Services: Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Randall was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed refinishing furniture, carpentry and gardening, and was a mechanic. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Sandra Cooper and Robin Presley.     Coach Don William Littleton of Chickamauga died Friday morning, Dec. 26, 2008. He was 71.He was born in Florence, Ala., to the late Walter Hugh and Missy Imogene Lyles Littleton. He attended and graduated from Florence State College and later received his Specialist degree in science and administration. He holds the record of shutouts in one season and the record for most shutouts in a career in baseball at Florence State College, now known as the University of North Alabama. He served his country in the U.S. Army where he was honorably discharged as a second lieutenant. He was
