Is Bush the Antichrist?
Unlike Bush, I don't claim to be on a divinely appointed mission, but I tell the truth.

  • To Blog  Or Not To Blog – Isn’t That the Question?

Four weeks ago I started blogging at Salon on a trial basis.  Now the trial period is up, so I have have to decide whether or not to continue.  The biggest problem is that I have a full time job, and I’m also writing another book, and it’s difficult finding the time and energy to keep it up.  I have not been able to reply to all the emails and comments as I would have liked to.  On the other hand, so many people have offered thanks and words  of encouragement, that I feel a kind of moral obligation.  So I decided to continue and see how things evolve.   However,  I’ll be changing hosts to:

  • Fending Off Intimidation From the Pharisees

    from Jonathan:

    Dear Sir,

I have read your website and while you raise an

interresting argument, I find it hard to take you

seriously. I admit that I don't currently have any

research to disprove yours, and it may very well be

true, however, it would be much easier to take you

seriously if your website weren't filled with

ridiculous Bush-Devil pictures and blatent arrogance.

You talk as though you feel that you are somehow

better than others even though obviously we are all

equal in the eyes of the Lord.

If we are indeed all equal, than I have the same right to research and voice my own opinion as you do to blindly parrot someone else’s opinion.  What you call arrogance, I call thinking for myself.  You admit that you don’t have anything to rebut my evidence or conclusions – yet you reject them because I am not one of your legalistic religious-right authorities. The fact that I posted “ridiculous Bush-devil pictures” was evidence enough that I was not one of your pompous right-wing religious authorities, since they support him. You do not think we are all equal – you think that some should do all the researching and thinking, and others shouldn’t.

    Also at times you make

wild accusations that really don't have all that much

to do with the issue such as when you implicated that

George Bush's wife murdered her boyfriend. That is

just speculation and you hardly have enough evidence

    to state it as fact.

That is another lie.  I never said Laura Bush murdered her boyfriend – I said she killed her boyfriend.  Murder is a legal term, and she was never convicted of murder.  But she certainly did run a stop sign and crash into another car, killing her boyfriend.  Those are the facts, and they are not in dispute, whether or not you are allowed to believe it.

Another thing that is disconcerting is the way

you reply to your email. You speak politely to those
