  • Retail Risk Manager
    HSBC Bank (RR) Main Responsibilities: • Credit policy development: highlighting key, "front-line" retail credit risk standards and principals, setting out clearly the parameters of risk capacity and appetite etc.; • Determine the risk strategy; • Portfolio risk assessment, portfolio performance reporting; • Score cards development; • Development of local retail risk structure plans; • Day-to-day management of Consumer Banking project milestones; • Managing Collection and Underwriting teams; • Development and implementation of the detailed risk related process maps and regulations in line with local regulations and Group standards; • Agreement of local documentation standards in line with existing Group templates and manuals; • Develop with all remote support sites any process involving interaction with retail risk in Russia; • Develop any required third party contractual arrangements; • Ensure departmental roles and responsibilities are defined for any processes involved; • Liaison with other sites to adopt best practices as appropriate; • Management of costs within agreed budgets; • Developing test plans with IT; • Providing final sign off for IT acceptability; • Active UAT participation; • Development of plan and liaison with all relevant departments particularly IT. Experience and skills: • University education is a must as well as numerous accomplished courses in economics, management, credit risk assessment plus English literacy; • Previous experience in a similar position is necessary to perform the above duties. The requirements include experience in credit risk assessment and in applying methods of its mitigation; • This person must be able to present leadership skills and manage a team of people by showing strong authority, organisation skills and capability of human resources management; • Computer literacy (Ms Office, Lotus Notes, Internet).
